Lana Chammas is the Chief of Operations and a guest contributor at Short Ends. She was born in Amman, Jordan, and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. She has completed her BFA in Film Studies in Montreal/Tiohtià:ke and currently lives in Toronto/Tkaronto. Her focus most notably encompasses Arab cinema, especially from the Levant region. Her interest also lies in cultural studies, diasporic analysis, animation, genre cinema, women in film, independent films, coming-of-age storytelling, and film noir.
